[Case Study on the Use of Conductive Diamond] Anodizing of Aluminum Alloys
Anodic oxidation of aluminum alloys using electrolytic sulfuric acid solution.
Conventional aluminum has been widely used in many products due to its light weight and good workability, but it also has weaknesses such as being prone to corrosion and scratches. These are significant factors that undermine the reliability and aesthetics of products. Anodizing aluminum (also known as alumite treatment) is a surface treatment technology that electrochemically oxidizes the surface of aluminum products to form an oxide film. By changing the solution used during anodizing to an electrolytic sulfuric acid solution, it is possible to achieve a surface treatment with even higher corrosion resistance and hardness than conventional aluminum anodizing.
